Our Funky Surfer Dedi Gun  Re-Signs With Rip Curl

Rip Curl South East Asia happy to announce the re-signing of their Search brand ambassador and Team Captain of the Groms, Dedi Gun.

This year will mark Dedi Gun’s 16th year together with Rip Curl. The talented young natural foot Surfer from Lakey Peak, Sumbawa Indonesia, has extended his contract with long-term sponsor Rip Curl, renewing a partnership that started when he was just 14 years old.

This 30 year old had an accident on his shoulder blade while he was surfing 1.5 years ago and was on the recovery until early 2018. Now, he is back and ready to do some action and already start some little trip in Bali with Conner Coffin during WCT Corona Bali Protected and Uluwatu CT.

“I’m super happy to continue to be part of the Rip Curl team” commented Dedi Gun. “Rip Curl is like a family to me now as they have supported me since I was 14 years old. I am looking forward to have more trip over the coming year, putting together some new video projects and going on the Search to new places”.
