Down South Lay Days With Mason Ho And Co

Rip Curl in collaboration with Scholars of Sustenance (SOS) Bali, help to support vulnerable communities in Bali to have access to good nutritious meals.

Mason Ho spends a fair chunk of each year battling crowds at Pipeline and Backdoor on the North Shore... and he’s well accustomed to ditching the well-known spots in search of empty lineups and wild waves. So when he had the chance to escape the crowds of the 2019 Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach, he took it.

He took it, grabbed a group of groms and drove down the Great Ocean Road on the hunt for a good bank and a great time. The result? A highly viewable session somewhere south of Bells… featuring one Mason Ho, Sheldon Paishon, Kai Ordiozola, Hans Odriozola and Matias Canhoto.

Additionally, we’d like to give a special shout out to 13-year-old Kai from Spain, who ended up injuring himself on this little strike mission down south. Get well soon Kai!
